发如雪(Hair Like Snow) - Jay Chou

A crackle synth I made with chip NTE909D and circuits in a floss box. A switch controls on and off. A potentiometer controlls volume.

I started singing and playing the piano since I was young. To pursue my interest in music, I went to the music high school affiliated to Xinghai Conservatory of Music, where I studied and lived with other music students from different majors, including piano, vocal performance, strings, woodwinds, percussion, brass, etc. With years of music education from a classical music school, I am familiar with the skeleton of music academies and the pain point of learning process between different majors and different music courses.

During my time at my graduate school, Mills College, which has recently become a Hispanic Serving Institution, I have worked with our undergraduate students with diverse backgrounds for performances and other affairs. I helped them with instruction on audio equipment and music production. There were many moving experiences collaborating with the youth, performing in unique and nurturing environments. I was glad to contribute to the space that can facilitate vulnerable connection and provide resources to support underrepresented young people who are interested in the digital art area.

I am looking forward to meeting your students!
